please add inter-app audio / audiobus support. no updates since 2012? why? please make this awesome product better. youre better than this.

Fantastic to finally have such a great app updated after so long, but something big is missing (for me anyway). iPhone 5 screen support is present, but the keys remain the same (still total of 9). They arent wider. There arent more of them. Just seems like wasted real estate. Any chance on upping the key count for the 5?

Only 9 keys?? The last version definitely let you use up to 10 trigger keys. You would think a wider screen would accommodate more keys not less:(

The app wouldnt shut down and I couldnt turn off my phone. I had to disconnect my battery. WhenI got my phone back on I deleted it, the app was slow and unresponsive.

Animoog’s priority is not set for the iOS world yet, and I hope they take on more projects for iOS in the future. Audiobus doesn’t work for me with Animoog. However, this is the best synth I’ve come across so far at the price. The quality is amazing. no problems with latency or connection issues with midi. It’s a beast. The problem that bugs me the most is that the iPad version cost like 20 bucks or something. The price is somewhat high for the iPad, but realistically it deserves that price. I would give 5.. but you can’t say animoog supports audiobus and not have it. Fix that and you will get your 5 stars back animoog. And thanks for this wonderful app.

This update broke the app. I had to get a refund as it locks up iPhone 4 series unlike ver 1.1.1 which is awsome . 112 is a virus

Audiobus and GarageBand support make this rich synthesizer app a must have for any iOS music producer

If you thought the Moog was about sine waves and LFOs sit down with this puppy and be amazed. The interface is superb for an iPhone where screen real estate is precious.The sound quality and the app architecture reflect the history and expertise of the brand. Not dissapointed.

iPad version will not launch in iOS 8 1.0.2. Please fix

Animist is as good as it gets when it comes to analogue synthesizer sound in a digital package. Killer app!!

I love this app, but recently I got a used iPhone 5 and proceeded to install Animoog on it, but was disappointed to find that despite the larger screen compared to my iPhone 4s, for some reason there are less keyboard keys when using this on my iPhone 5. How odd. And the keys are spaced apart much more than on my iPhone 4s too. I looked through the settings, but that doesnt appear to offer a fix. I guess Ill have to keep my older iPhone around just for Animoog, since the lack of keys makes this iPhone 5 version way worse.

Ill give this a higher rating if you can update this with the scale lock functionality. Its so much easier to keep jamming on a loop this way. Thanks.

Another update and Animoog for iPhone is still not working in Audiobus for me (current versions of everything). Frustrating, as the functionality is supposed to have been around for over a month now and is yet to work. It works fine on its own, but produces no sound when used in Audiobus, with an "error" appearing over the Animoog icon in Audiobus. I love Animoog, but I need it to work how its supposed to...with Audiobus...and wont be using it, or giving a review with more stars until it does. Get it together, Moog!

Im an app junkie and this is one of my favs. The kids love it. You can tweak sound like a real moog / analog synth. But unlike other apps, it has a visual orbiter feature (so cool) and midi support (but you dont need midi to have fun). Plug into external amp and get funky. Seriously a great app, guys.

But I cannot download my bought packs to my new phone.... Hence 3 stars

All the stuff I bought for the iPad version wasnt transferable to the iPhone platform. Maybe Im missing something simple but seems a little strange. Great app though... Couldnt live without..

At some point in the last month, or the last update, not only have I lost tons of presets, but Ive lost almost all of my timbres. When I try to "Restore Purchases" nothing happens even though Im told it was successful. To make matters worse Im also unable to change ANY timbres. Not my generations moog! If these problems get taken care of, Ill do another rating.

Hopefully, iOS 8 support wont take years. Used to be the best, but Magellan is better in my opinion.
