Now it here! But my Audiobus 2.1.4 on iPhone 5 cant hook up the Animoog. It appears amongst the inputs, I pick it and after I push tap to launch it starts, but sound isnt routed to Audiobus. The IAA works fine, thanks!
Amazing app! Now the sound dnt have secret 4 me!!!! lol all!!!!!!
Moog sound everywhere. A must buy for analog geeks.
it would be even greater if you make it compatible with Synthstation25, please please please! anyway its one of the best synth ever for iOS! We Love Moog!
terribly useless without synthstation 25 support.. please work on it cause this is a really good stuff!
It was amazing but today it crashes. Hope for a quick fix update, please. Diego
I cant open The application
Its been TWO years! I paid for this!
Audiobus not workin, IAA controls missing.
This is as close as youll get to holding an entire Moog synthesizer in the palm of your hand. Even if you barely understand how it works (like me), theres a lot to discover, learn, and enjoy by poking around the settings.
Animoog is capable of some fat sounds, its keyboard is brilliant, and its easy to experiment in a very intuitive way. I find myself using it a lot for liquid, legato soloing, but you can sequence it for some nice bass sounds as well. Ive used it on two albums now, and thats a testament to its power. Drawbacks: I bought this on iPhone, and now have to pay full price again for the same app on iPad? Come on. Only company that does this, I think. MIDI as an in-app purchase is also a bit much. Also, there is a strange metallic sheen to all the sounds on this synth. Record anything and try some EQ spectrum analysis, and you will see a normal gentle roll off in the highs until you get to about 16 K, where theres some strange loud spike from there to 20k. This is true even when playing bass sounds. This can be fixed in post production with a high shelf EQ cut, but it makes me wonder what the developers thought they were doing when they included this. It makes for some very piercing sounds. The Arturia synths or Thor sound much warmer.
As much as I love this app, it is no longer under development on the iPhone, all of the focus is on the iPad version. While the iPad version is on 2.x, the iPhone is on 1.x. Moog should be up front with the fact they are no longer interested in supporting an iPhone version of the app. This is a great synth, but without support, I can not see a future for this app, it currently does not support the iPhone 5 screen (it is cropped) and who knows the level of support in the coming years.
Lack of Audiobus support makes this app a fraction of what it could be.
...but it needs Audiobus-compatibility. Now.
I purchased without reading the details. No Audiobus. I also thought I wouldnt have to repurchase my packs I had bought on the iPad. Wrong. Could be cool if it was cross platform. Skip this and buy the iPad version.
Whats the point of a completely silent Moog app? The visualization is pretty and its nice to have all these options, but if it doesnt actually make a noise it seems a bit pointless. I have a few other synth apps and they make all kinds of interesting sounds. So I think Moog should upgrade this app so it can make sounds too.
Great app -- functional on iPad, but completely abandoned on iPhone. No Audiobus or Inter-App support makes it near useless to me.
